Chemical composition and pharmacological propertiesMedication (ointment) for external use for treatment of canine and feline wounds and various skin inflammatory diseases. It contains ASD-2F and ASD-3F as active ingredients, as well as excipients (castor oil, olive oil, aqueous alcoholic calendula and camomile extracts, glycerol and distilled water).
ASD-2F and ASD-3F (Antiseptic Dorogov’s stimulator) are components of the drug providing antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect, promoting reticuloendothelial system activity, normalizing trophism and accelerating regeneration of affected tissues.

Dorogova Balm Recipe No. 6 is intended for treatment of wounds, ulcers, fistulas, different types of dermatitis complicated by purulent microflora, as well as abscesses, phlegmons and pyodermia.
Adverse eventsIncreased individual sensitivity to the drug components may cause allergic reactions. In this case stop drug administration.
Dosage and administrationIn order to treat wounds infected by purulent microflora, fistulas, decubiti, trophic ulcers, abscesses, phlegmons, different types of dermatitis and pyodermia, apply Dorogova Balm Recipe No. 6 on affected skin areas in a thin layer equally distributing it along the surface and engaging 2-3 cm of healthy skin (with a view to prevent inflammatory lesion irradiation). Apply the medication once or twice a day till animal recovery.
You may use gauze dressings steeped in Dorogova Balm and change them once a day. Use gauze pads steeped in the drug to treat wounds, abscesses and fistulas and crumbly fill purulent cavities with them.
